We’ve been incredibly blessed with teams of volunteers who make ministry happen every week. From caring for kids, preparing meals, helping with safety, leading worship, and so much more.

At Real Life Otis, there’s a place for everyone to serve. Whether you're behind the scenes or up front, your role matters. Check out the opportunities below and discover how you can move from the sidelines to the front lines—serving on a team and making a lasting impact in God’s Kingdom.
FIRST IMPRESSIONS

Greeters – Be the first smile that makes someone feel at home. As a greeter, you set the tone for each guest’s experience by offering a warm welcome, opening doors with kindness, and helping people confidently find their way. Your acts of hospitality can open hearts to receive what God has for them.

​Connecting Point – ​Be a bridge between a warm welcome and lasting connection. At Connecting Point, you’ll greet guests with a smile, offer welcome gifts, and help them take their next step—whether it’s finding a group, learning about upcoming events, or getting plugged into a ministry. Your presence helps people feel seen, valued, and excited to become part of the church family.
WORSHIP/AV

Worship – Join a passionate team leading our church into the presence of God through music and song! As a singer or instrumentalist, you’ll use your musical gifts to inspire worship, uplift hearts, and create an atmosphere where people can encounter God’s love and grace

​AV – Help bring our worship experience to life! Whether you’re helping with sound, capturing moments on camera, or managing vibrant graphics, your talents help create an inspiring and seamless environment where hearts can connect with God.​
FACILITIES

Facilities – Help create a clean, welcoming space where people can worship, learn, and connect. Whether you’re vacuuming, restocking supplies, or resetting after special events, your service plays a crucial role in preparing the way for ministry to happen.

​Grounds & Building Maintenance – Play a vital role in preparing a beautiful, welcoming space where people can encounter God. Whether it’s mowing, trimming, shoveling, or changing batteries and light bulbs, your hands-on service helps create an environment that reflects care, excellence, and hospitality.​
KID'S MINISTRY

Service Lead – Greet and help families check in, be an outside support to the classrooms.
​​

Pre K – Engage with curious and energetic preschoolers through fun Bible stories, songs, and activities designed just for their age. Your role is to create a safe, welcoming, and loving environment where kids can learn about God’s love while having a great time.

K-6th – Help kids grow in their faith and understanding of God’s Word! You’ll engage children through Bible lessons, games, and activities that make learning about Jesus fun and memorable.
SAFETY TEAM

Security – Help create a safe and peaceful environment where people can worship, serve, and grow without distraction. As part of the Safety & Security Team, you’ll be a steady presence—protecting our church family with care and compassion during services, weekly ministries, and special events.

​Medical – Serve with a heart of compassion by using your medical knowledge to care for others in times of need. Medical Team members are present during services and special events, ready to assist.​
OTIS CARES
Serving with Otis Cares means walking alongside people in our community who are facing financial or personal struggles. Volunteers offer care, guidance, and encouragement while connecting individuals with the resources they need.

Transportation Assistance – Provide rides for church members to events or appointments.

School Deliveries – We’re seeking a caring volunteer to deliver Student of the Month bags and goodies to the school throughout the year.​​​
